Kelsie was baptized a member of our church this month in Lake Michigan. It was a beautiful day and everything went so well. Both sets of grandparents were able to be here for her big day. Grandma P made her dress and she looked just like a princess (minus the tiara!).We couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was beautiful, but the lake was cold! (That's the first thing she tells people when they ask her about it.) It is amazing to watch our little girl grow up and make such important decisions that will change her life. She is such a good example to us and her younger brothers. We're grateful for all the love and support we have received and for all the wonderful people who have helped us teach Kelsie about the gospel and to choose the right.

Kelsie looks so pretty! What a special day!
It was a very special day! Kelsie you looked beautiful!
If Kelsie and I look nervous in that last picture, it's because we were trying to figure from the faces of the people who went before us how cold the water was. Turns out it wasn't too bad. Definitely a day to remember (for more reasons that the cold water, of course!).
Kelsie, you look so beautiful in your baptism dress! I'm so proud of you!
Kelsie, we are so proud of you! That dress looks so beautiful on you.
That was a beautiful morning. Thanks for letting us be a part of it!
wow, it must feel like the last 8 years are a whirlwind. so happy for you, such a special day. hey, i'm curious if she chose to be baptized in the lake? or is that just a dumb question?
Jennica: A couple of other people were getting baptized in the lake the same day. We asked K if she wanted to also. She's never going to forget that day!
